La Crema is owned by sisters Laura Jackson Giron and Jennifer Jackson.
Laura and Jennifer share a love for the Russian River and the wines produced
in the region. Together they oversee an estate that produces award-winning
Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays.

Our Winemaker Melissa Stackhouse joined La Crema in 2001 and brings with her a passion for Burgundian style Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays. Melissa earned a degree in Viticulture and Enology from the University of California at Davis.
Having worked at several esteemed wineries in Sonoma County and Australia, Melissa developed her interest and expertise in Pinot Noir. At La Crema, Melissa and her winemaking team strive to express pure flavors of the Sonoma Coast.

For over twenty years, Hector Bedolla has been a vineyard manager. A
California native, Hector grew up in Yountville where he first indulged his
love for the vineyards. He worked numerous vineyard jobs before heading
to the University of California at Davis where he majored in Plant Science.
With a thorough knowledge of soils and growing conditions in all areas of
Sonoma County, Hector works closely with winemaker Melissa Stackhouse to nurture
Pinot Noir and Chardonnay fruit that shows finesse and varietal intensity
reflective of the cool-climate Sonoma Coast. In addition to his Sonoma
County expertise, Hector has spent considerable time developing vineyards
in Ecuador, Chile, Argentina and Russia.
