Aromas of raspberry, blackberry, and hints of black licorice. Followed by flavors of pomegranate, boysenberry, plum, and subtle tea and spice elements. On the palate the 2022 vintage presents plush, fine-integrated tannins balanced by a juicy acidity.
This is a wine that can actually stand up to more robust fare including coffee-crusted filet mignon, Moroccan-spiced lamb or herbed roasted almonds. Aged cheeses are a spectacular match, especially with dried berries alongside.
