On the nose delicate notes of LYCHEE, CITRUS BLOSSOM, and toasted hazelnut followed by flavors of GRAVENSTEIN APPLE, Meyer lemon, and baked pear. On the palate the 2017 vintage presents bright acidity and a long-refined finish.
This wine is classic enough for citrus-roasted chicken and veal piccata and versatile enough for halibut with salsa verde and pork saltimbocca…and fried plantains.

“The 2017 Chardonnay Saralee’s Vineyard was barrel fermented and aged 10 months in 32% new French oak. It opens with white peach, lilac, baked golden apple, apricot, sweet spices and honey toast with loads of savory accents. Medium-bodied, it’s rounded, silky and intense with mouthwatering freshness and a long, toasty nish.” – E.B.
