Creating great Chardonnay and Pinot Noir is restricted by
the ability to grow premium, cool coastal grapes. La Crema
searches for grapes grown in well-drained soils where the
cool coastal fog allows long hang time and slow ripening.
The result is small, intensely flavored berries which provide
the elegance and balance that mark the signature of La Crema wines.
This Coastal Region is home to five premium AVAs
(Viticultural Areas) known for outstanding Chardonnay and
Pinot Noir:
Russian River Valley, Sonoma Coast, Los Carneros, Anderson Valley and Monterey.
